It looks like that bubbly playdo!

Over my main I run xr30 gen 4 pros on an AB+ slightly adjusted schedule....on my 32g cube I run a hydra 32 HD.

I do like the color and growth in the radion vs the hydra but both are great lights.

We purposely created a cove of shallow rock to accommodate mushrooms. Some of our favorite corals for sure. I'll need to take some clearer pics for sure. Hard to do on the phone.

Not sure what’s going on with my heatwave and Mardi Gras bounce, they’re shriveled up and seem to be melting. I have them placed on the bottom of my tank, been there for over a month. Might try moving them up?

First two weeks, mid height placement in the tank on frag racks they where fine. Then I placed them bottom, as pictured and they started downhill. They’ve been at the bottom over a month.
If thats them tucked under the overhang then I would say yes try and move them back up a little and see how they react. Even just out in more light might help. If they are on little frag plugs, sometimes they get glued and can't move.

Nice tank :)

Caribsea liverock has lots of potential for shroom scaping. A bit of epoxy and you can create some neat rock work. This arch was three pieces epoxied together.

I’ll reclaim the Realestate if I can manage to get the bubble tips off but they multiply almost as fast as I can dislodge them. I literally had to move the shrooms to the sand when the single Nem started splitting exponentially to what the colony is now.

I’m starting to think the overhang is the culprit. I have T5s and the light does spread to them but probably not enough. I’ll try moving them out for a few days and see if that helps. The rock they’re on is separate from the main scape and I have room there from the glass. Fingers crossed that helps before I move them up. Thanks for the tip.

How do you like your hybrid setup? I'm looking to add one to my setup but my concern would be bulb replacement...not sure why thats my main concern lol

My biocube - all mushrooms and ricordea Yuma. Sadly it doesn’t look this great anymore some weird bacterial bloom or something caused almost all the red and green mushrooms to detach now I have only 4 reds and about 10 greens left in the tank. The Yuma’s and purple mushrooms never had an issue

Drop off tanks are some of my favorites, definitely on the list for a future build. Nems are amazing and dangerous because of exactly what you’re experiencing. Have your mushrooms been doing good in that lower section what’s the flow like In the drop?

Shrooms on the lower level tend to spread out a bit larger than the upper ledge with lower PAR. Upper ledge 110 PAR, lower ledge 90 PAR. Flow isn’t too bad, I have two Jebaos OW10, one is pointed behind the scape for a racetrack flow, second faces forward to slow the downdraft from the return. The drop actually has the best spot for placement. Put the mama jawbreaker there last week and she started reaching out to drop babies on the level change wall. Flow there is a circular rotation like air going over a truck bed without a cab if that makes sense.
