Ok so like a week ago my scolly got attacked by something and I freaked out i rinsed it with fw and i raised if off the sand using the intake cover on the maxijets now its almost fully recovered and doing great! all in a weeks time this things went from goner back to showpiece! Look semi progression shots...

You rinsed it with freshwater??? I tried that once with an acan and the acan lost all it's color. Now i just use iodine dip.

put it right under the faucet actually... haha did that with another one of my corals as well... can't remember which one..

most corals IMO can handle a freshwater dip for a lil bit nate ur crazy for doing it under a faucet

ha you'd be surprised what came out of it sink was full b/c i was curious and stopped the drain

i'm amazed at how fast they do! i thought he was a goner i was so depressed as it's barely two weeks old in my tank

I have had this happen more than once with the beautiful ricordia going to war with a scoly and for some crazy reason the beautiful ricordia wins. LOL Go figure

this is why i love reef2reef because sponsors who have vast amounts of knowledge are actually allowed to share that info with us w/o being immediately accused of trying to push their product

+1 i love the fact they are allowed to do that with out worry about getting kicked off, thats one reason i love R2R, over at the evil brother forum u have worry about EVERY post bc it might just make the wrong person mad and then goes the power trip
