I've been running this schedule for a couple months now on my 2 AI Prime HDs. Its over a 40b. I moved my tank to the living room a while back and in the process, started a mini-cycle. It drastically slowed coral growth for a while, making it hard for me to judge if the change in lights has made an impact on growth. Before I moved the tank zoas and gsp were growing rather fast. Now some zoas are growing fast, some seem to be receding. GSP is still growing, not as fast. Acans growing fast, caulestra slow...My question is are there any obvious issues with the schedule I've created, such as having the royal blue dialed back all day? I've looked at some of the more popular presets and they're all slightly off to my liking. I'm willing to make adjustments if anyone has any suggestions

Not sue if your profile is the reason, it is odd to have same type of corals having different behaviors, the asymmetric ramp up/down is not enough reason for me. Are your kH and Ca stable and within range?

In my case I run a mixed reef, Red Sea S-500 with 3 AI Hydras 26HD, this is my profile and my tank:

What a beautiful tank! Yes, my kh is stable although I've just bumped it from 8 to 9 to mach salt change. Ca 420-450. I use a dosing pump for both. I had one colony of zoas that just grew like weeds...started with maybe 3 polyps, within 6 months it was probably 80. Since the move and the mini cycle I have watched the connective tissues recede, many close up and have stayed that way (although there is plenty of pigment still visible on the "nubs") Yet I have other zoa colonies that seem to be growing at a reasonable rate (on same rock) I'm wondering if the asterinas have anything to do with it??

Thank you Kyle, if your parameters are stable, the asterinas may be the issue! some of them do eat coral, the good thing is you can remove them easily. There could be other pests, you may want to watch your tank after the lights go down for a while to see if there is something else.

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with your light settings. Maybe it could be coral warfare? Are there other corals next to the zoas?
